This is amazing, it is the quickest and easiest way to get information and post information. I like it also because you can post programs and information about what's happening at the Library. I think it is another great way to advertise. I will use this tool to advertise things I am doing at the library.
Library Thing
I think Library Thing is great for book lovers. It is a great way to get suggestions on what to read and what others are reading. It is also a neat way to keep track of what you read. It's another way to socialize with others over the web.

• Comment on the quality, entertainment value, or usefulness of the content on these sites.
I think Flicker is a wonderful way to share in a secure environment your pictures. YouTube is just fun, it is a great way to learn about anything and if you are a visual person you can even learn to play the guitar. The entertainment value is endless.

• Do you see free online tools like these eventually replacing expensive software like MS Office?
No, I think there will always be a need for Microsoft as it can do so much more than the online tools. The online tools are great for students or people who don't have access but I think they need to have better capabilities before big businesses will use them.

Were you able to successfully set up your RSS feed? If not, where did you run into problems? If you were successful, does this make information-gathering more convenient for you? It was easy for me to set up an account. The problems lie in the emails that are sent back to you, I find it hard to keep up with, it can consume to much of your time if you are not careful.

I found the features of Google amazing. I was intrigued by all the things I saw. I went into photos and found a picture of my sister. I tried Google Chrome and am sold, I can't believe how fast it is. I also went to translate and translated my resume form English to French. I signed up for a Gmail account and am looking forward to exploring some of the other features as well. I did not really find anything that I didn't like.

I like social networking, but it can take up all your time if you let it. The great thing for me is that I have moved here from another country and it is an easy way for me to connect with old friends. I get a kick out of seeing pictures of old high school friends.
Delicious
I have not spent too much time navigating but it does seem fairly user friendly. I like the way it is set up. It was easy to access the other blogs from there as well. I also appreciate that fact that things are bundled making navigation easier.

Wikipedia
I thought it was easy to access and easy to edit. I had to read two articles before I found one to edit. It is a good resource for quick facts, just remember it is not always correct information.

Which aspect of Web 2.0 am I the most intrigued by?
I think I am intrigued with it all, I have always considered myself technically challenged so the fact that I am bloging right now is amazing. I am fascinated with what we can do these days with a touch of a finger. I can't wait for the next lesson, my kids will think I am so cool!!
